General description
棕榈酸（PA）是一种存在于人体内的饱和脂肪酸，占膜磷脂（PL）和脂肪三酰甘油（TAG）中总脂肪酸（FA）的20-30%。它是棕榈油的主要成分之一，在肉类和乳制品、可可脂和橄榄油中也发现了大量的PA。母乳中也含有PA。PA在细胞和组织水平上执行各种基本的生物学功能。
Application
棕榈酸已用于：
- 研究对单核细胞趋化蛋白-1（MCP-1）在脂肪细胞和THP-1巨噬细胞中表达的影响
- 刺激原代大鼠肝细胞脂毒性
- 在牛血清白蛋白（BSA）溶液中加入维甲酸（RA）和视黄醇，研究对精子发生和减数分裂进程的影响
