生化/生理作用
溴新斯的明是一种季胺。 它通过抑制胆碱酯酶活性而参与延长并增强乙酰胆碱的毒蕈碱和烟碱作用。它在麻醉作用中用于逆转竞争性神经肌肉阻滞剂产生的神经肌肉阻滞。
类似于毒扁豆碱的乙酰胆碱酯酶的可逆抑制剂，但是不能穿过血脑屏障。
