General description
肌红蛋白是一种与血红素相关的低分子量蛋白质。它主要存在于心肌和骨骼肌中。
Application
人心脏肌红蛋白已用作阴性对照品，以监测储存过程中isoAsp的形成。在研究中也被用作抗原，以识别由未免疫小鼠株血清自身抗体识别的自身抗原。
使用人心脏肌红蛋白以通过ESI-TOF MS研究铂（II）9-氨基吖啶复合物与蛋白质和寡核苷酸的相互作用。它也用于使用Stratus Cs荧光计评估血浆肌红蛋白。
Biochem/physiol Actions
肌红蛋白可有助于增加扩散，并在氧化肌中储存O2。在肌肉剧烈运动时出现血液供氧不足时，它可瞬间充当供氧库进行供氧。
