Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

V-Myc(v-myc禽髓细胞瘤病病毒致癌基因同源物)是一种转录因子,其由MYC基因编码。它最初被描述为禽逆转录病毒致癌基因的同源物。它属于转录因子家族,以碱性区螺旋-环-螺旋/亮氨酸拉链为特征。它与N-Myc和L-Myc一起构成原癌基因家族。它与MAX形成异二聚体,该二聚体与DNA上的E-boxes/CACGTG基序相结合。该基因位于人染色体8q24上。
