What is Product D4902, Dexamethasone, soluble in?
Dexamethasone is practically insoluble in water. It is soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone, dioxane and slightly soluble in chloroform.
How should I reconstitute Product D4902, Dexamethasone, for tissue culture use?
The tissue culture grade product is dissolved in ethanol at a concentration of 1 mg/ml forming a clear, colorless solution. It is also possible to prepare a stock solution of dexamethasone in DMSO at 1.5 mM.
