生化/生理作用

一种从巨噬细胞和内皮细胞中提取的一氧化氮合成酶的有效且可逆的抑制剂。也抑制其他黄酮酶，如中性粒细胞NADPH氧化酶。
二亚苯基碘鎓(DPI)可影响线粒体功能。DPI可抑制帕金森病的神经元变性。对局灶性脑缺血具有神经保护作用。DPI可诱导干细胞样肿瘤细胞的化学静息(chemo-quiescence)表型，有效抑制细胞增殖。

  5. How should Product No. D2926, Diphenyleneiodonium chloride be dissolved?

    Product D2926 is soluble in DMSO at a concentration of 10 mg/mL, with strong heating. It is also easily soluble at 2.4 mg/mL in DMSO, in 0.1N NaOH (at 0.5 mg/mL), in 0.1N HCl (at 0.2 mg/mL), in ethanol (at 0.2 mg/mL) or in water (0.2 mg/mL). Stock solutions can be prepared at 10 mM in DMSO, according to O'Donnell, V. B., et al., Studies on the Inhibitory Mechanism of Iodonium Compounds with Special Reference to Neutrophil NADPH Oxidase. Biochem. J., 290(pt 1), 41-49 (1993), or at 3 x 10-8 to 3 x 10-6 M in a 5% glucose solution according to Wang, Y. X., et al., Inhibitory Actions of Diphenyleneiodonium on Endothelium-dependent Vasodilatations In Vitro and In Vivo. Br. J.Pharmacol., 110(3), 1232-1238 (1993).
