生化/生理作用
淀粉样蛋白β-蛋白片段25-35 (Aβ25-35)参与了阿尔茨海默氏病′的发病机理。可以抑制这种转变的抑制剂可以用作控制阿尔茨海默氏病的潜在药物。它存在于阿尔茨海默氏病脑样本以及包涵体肌炎(IBM)肌肉的下丘脑和内嗅皮层神经元中。它与小胶质细胞之间存在受体结合,可以进行脂质膜插入。包含序列GSNKGAIIGLM的Aβ的功能域序列会引起神经营养作用和神经毒性作用。Aβ25-35 表现出快速聚集,显示出年龄依赖性神经毒性。
