Application
MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 3 analytes in human serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatants.Analytes included: IL-18 Binding Protein A (IL-18BPa), Cartilage Oligomeric Matrix Protein (COMP), and UteroglobinAssay Characteristics: Refer to kit protocol for assay cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits
Targeted 3-plex Fibrosis Biomarker Panel: Simultaneously quantify three critical fibrosis-related proteins (IL-18BPa, COMP, and Uteroglobin) in a single assay, providing comprehensive insights into fibrotic disease progression and therapeutic response monitoring.Configurable Panel: Design your personalized multiplex kit by selecting specific analytes most relevant to your fibrosis research objectives, optimizing cost-effectiveness while maintaining superior assay performance and reducing unnecessary measurements.Comprehensive Fibrosis Pathway Analysis: Investigate complex mechanisms underlying idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, liver fibrosis, cardiac fibrosis, and other fibrotic conditions by simultaneously monitoring key regulatory proteins involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue scarring processes.Drug Development and Biomarker Discovery: Accelerate anti-fibrotic therapeutic development by identifying novel biomarker signatures and validating potential drug targets across multiple fibrotic disease models and patient populations.
General description
Fibrosis is a pathological wound healing response that is common to many chronic diseases and injuries. The abnormal wound healing response of fibrosis involves the excessive accumulation of the extracellular matrix components responsible for the formation of scar tissue. Progressive tissue scarring causes alterations to normal organ structure leading to dysfunction and failure. Fibrosis and related diseases are responsible for an increasing burden of morbidity and mortality worldwide. This panel of fibrosis-related biomarkers enables researchers to advance understanding of the complex processes associated with fibrotic diseases, including but not limited to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, liver fibrosis, and lung fibrosis.
