Cross Reactivity:
There was no or negligible cross-reactivity between the antibodies for an analyte and any of the other analytes in this panel.

However, until now the ability to measure levels of cytokines and chemokines in chicken has been limited primarily to ELISAs. Researchers now have the ability to measure multiple inflammation biomarkers simultaneously using EMD Millipore′s MILLIPLEX^® Chicken Cytokine/Chemokine Panel 1, based on the Luminex^® xMAP^® technology.

EMD Millipore′s MILLIPLEX^® Chicken Cytokine/Chemokine Panel is a 12-plex kit to be used for the simultaneous quantification of any or all of the following analytes in chicken serum, plasma and PBMC samples: Interferon alpha (IFNα), Interferon gamma (IFNγ), Interleukin 2 (IL-2), Interleukin 6 (IL-6), Interleukin 10 (IL-10), Interleukin 16 (IL-16), Interleukin 21 (IL-21), Macrophage Inflammatory protein-1β (MIP-1b), Macrophage Inflammatory protein-3 (MIP-3a), RANTES (regulated on activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted), Macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF), Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).
