General description
Mr 52kDa
细胞周期蛋白 E 是 Cdk2 的调节亚基，在哺乳动物细胞周期中控制 G1/S 的转变。细胞周期蛋白 E 的多种同工型仅在肿瘤中表达，而在正常组织中不表达，这表明细胞周期蛋白 E 受转录后调控。体外分析表明，细胞周期蛋白 E 的这些截短的变体能够磷酸化组蛋白 H1。细胞周期蛋白 E 异常被认为是各种癌症预后较差的指标。
