General description
Akt（蛋白激酶B）是一种丝氨酸/苏氨酸激酶，是涉及细胞增殖、凋亡、血管生成和糖尿病的信号转导途径的关键酶。据报道，在哺乳动物中，Akt的三种同种型（α，β，γ 或Akt 1、2、3）显示高度同源性，但其调节性磷酸化位点略有不同。Akt α 是大多数组织中的主要同工型，Aktβ在胰岛素反应性组织中表达量最高，而Aktγ在脑组织中表达量丰富。每个Akt同种型由三个功能不同的区域组成：一个N末端pleckstrin homology（PH）结构域（它可提供一个脂质结合模块以将Akt引导至PIP2和PIP3上）、一个中央催化结构域和一个C末端疏水序列。
