IKK β（I-Kappa-B 激酶 β）是IKK复合物的成员，IKK复合物包括IKK α、IKK β、 IKK γ 和 IKAP。在IKK复合物的作用下丝氨酸残基上I-Kappa-B的磷酸化使 I-Kappa-B释放出NF-kB，并使其通过泛素化降解。 研究显示IKK β激活 NF-kB并使IKB α 和β磷酸化。 IKK β激活环（activation loop）上2个位点的磷酸化是TNF和 IL1I激活IKK所必需的。激活后，IKK β自磷酸化，然后降低IKK 活性并防止炎症反应的长期激活。此外，IKK β 活性也受到MEKK-1的调节。

分析说明

在人Jurkat RIPA细胞裂解液、人A431、HeLa细胞核提取物、小鼠3T3/A31或大鼠PC-12 RIPA细胞裂解液中通过蛋白质印迹进行了常规评估。

蛋白质印迹分析：
0.5-2 µg/mL该批次在人HeLa细胞裂解液中检测到IKK/IKK2 。一个先前批次测试了人Jurkat RIPA细胞裂解液、A431提取物、小鼠3T3/A31、和大鼠PC-12 RIPA 细胞裂解液。
