Lithium chloride is a white crystalline highlywater-soluble compound with good ionic conductivity. It has a relatively lowmelting point, which helps in the fabrication of battery components and solid-stateelectrolytes or the use of molten lithium chloride as an electrolyte. We packaged Lithium chloride in our innovative Redi Dri™ packaging, which easily can prevent the absorption of moisture. Application
Lithium chloride can be used:
- Our high-purity lithium chloride (LiCl) serves as an ideal precursor for uniform protective coatings on lithium metal electrodes, enabling advanced anodes in high-charge density lithium-ion batteries due to its minimal trace metal content.
- Our >99.98% lithium chloride enhances lithium diffusion and suppresses the formation of lithium dendrites, resulting in improved cycle stability and enhanced rate capability. With minimal metal impurities, our product ensures consistent battery performance, free from the detrimental effects of contaminants.
- Acts as a starting material for the preparation of humidity-tolerant and cost-effective solid electrolyte Li2ZrCl6 for lithium-ion batteries.
