Sigma′s neutralization buffer is suitable for Southern blotting procedures [1] to neutralize the pH of the gel following depurination and denaturation treatment or before transferring it to membranes.

Application

Suitable for neutralizing the gel before transfer to membranes during Southern procedures.

Components

The Neutralization Buffer is composed of 1M Tris-HCl and 1.5M NaCl.
