Multiplexing Cancer and Metastasis Signaling Pathways

Cancer and metastasis signaling pathways are notorious for being complex. Read on to see how multiplexing with highly verified MILLIPLEX® multiplex assays can help simplify cancer research by measuring multiple circulating biomarkers at once.

Section Overview

Cancer and Metastasis Signaling Pathways

Cancer and metastasis signaling involves many different pathways including cell signaling, DNA damage, and inflammation. To investigate them, researchers need to analyze various proteins in these pathways such as the Src family kinase, JAK-STAT proteins, TGFβ, NFκB, mTOR, and more. Figure 1 gives a general overview of these pathways and related proteins.

Multiplexing Signaling Proteins with MILLIPLEX® Multiplex Assays

Multiplexing signaling proteins allows you to measure multiple circulating biomarkers, phosphorylated, or total proteins in a pathway with a single small sample, using intracellular and circulating multiplex assay panels. MILLIPLEX® multiplex assays give you a head start on your research by enabling you to work faster and smarter than traditional techniques, including ELISAs, Western blotting, and flow cytometry. Research areas covered by these panels include:
