Titration Reagents

The image depicts a white bottle of Titripac liquid solution alongside its packaging box. The bottle has a black cap and is partially wrapped with a label containing text and the brand’s logo. The packaging box is white with green accents, displaying information including the product name, usage instructions, and a QR code. Both the bottle and box are placed against a light-colored, plain background. The box has a cutout handle for easy carrying.

Titration or titrimetry is a quantitative analytical technique used to determine the exact concentration of an unknown compound or the purity of a substance. Sophisticated and accurate analyses require precisely adjusted and produced volumetric solutions. Our broad portfolio of volumetric solutions in different concentrations and packaging has a solution for every application. Especially our Titripur® Volumetric Solutions are the quality standard for titration, they are ready to use, analyzed in our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

Titripur® Volumetric Solutions

Our Titripur® products include ready-to-use volumetric solutions for precise and reliable titration results. All Titripur® solutions are traceable to primary reference materials from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and analyzed by our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. The Quality Control Laboratory at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany is accredited by DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle- German Accreditation Service) as calibration laboratory D-K-15185-01-00 according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Our Titripur® portfolio offers also a range of solutions which are produced and analyzed in adherence to the reagents chapter of the European and United States Pharmacopeia for pharmaceuticals and raw materials analysis.

Titripac® Packaging for Volumetric Solutions

The Titripac® system is an innovative packaging system for our ready-to-use Titripur® volumetric solutions. The hermetically sealed Titripac® packaging prevents solution contamination caused by air, carbon dioxide, or microorganisms through both storage and use. With its integrated tap, solutions can be withdrawn and directly connected to a titrator using an adapter. It is environment friendly and reduces packaging waste; the carton can be recycled with paper waste and the internal liner can be easily folded together and disposed separately.

Titrisol® Volumetric Concentrates

Titrisol® concentrates provide flexiblity to produce different solution concentrations, allowing users to dilute to their required titrant concentration.

SmartChemicals for Digitalized Titration

Supelco® SmartTitrants and Supelco® SmartStandards provide instant and seamless data transfer via RFID tags. This smart titration technology stores relevant certificate data in the embedded RFID tag on the labels of our Titripur® volumetric solutions, Certipur® volumetric standards, and Aquastar® Karl Fischer titrants and standards. A simple touch on the tag of our SmartChemicals enables the transfer of product name, article number, batch number, concentration, date of release, shelf life, and initial opening date.
